township incompatibility

Postby Johnboy » Saturday December 7th, 2013 6:17 pm MST

The building inspector for the TOWNSHIP (an employee) was in addition elected as a township trustee in the Novenber 2012 election. The MCL 15.181 is clear, whereas there is a conflict of interest. Since then, I have filed a complaint with my state rep, and also with the county prosecutor and even called the local tv station to look into this matter, all to no avail. I am looking for some advice to correct this situation within the township.
